Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum DM-OUCI-2020-371 titled “Finalization of the Balik Kasaysayan Policy and Guidelines and Sample Learning Materials” which aims to deepen awareness on local history, culture, and arts that contribute meaningfully to strengthening Filipino leaners' patriotism and nationalism, the Butuan City division shall conduct a Balik Kasaysayan Compendium: 3-Day Division Training on Local History Writing on September 28-30, 2022. This training is a National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) recognized and participants are entitled with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units. 2. The training aims to a. gather information on localized practices in teaching Araling Panlipunan and other related activities such as contests, festivals and the like; . prepare necessary data and information relative to local history such as history of the city or barangay, barangay/city map, population (livelihood & indigenous people), local heroes, celebrations, festivals, and tourist destinations (heritage and natural wonders), and c. develop a Balik Kasaysayan Compendium learning resource / reference materials for teachers. 3. Participants to this training are Araling Panlipunan teachers preferably computer literate Master ‘Teachers and computer literate ( 2 elementary and 2 secondary) from the 15 districts. 4, A Registration Fee of One Thousand Four Hundred pesos (P 1,400) shall be collected per participant to cover venue, meals, and other related expenses which shall be taken from the school MOOE subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. ‘The disbursing officer shall start the collection for the pre-registration on July 27, 2022 until August 05, 2022. 5.
