The new technologies have altered how individuals learn. Nowadays, in industrialized
countries, students do not confine themselves to one location to study. As an alternative, they
provide a variety of options that may be integrated with both online and offline learning
environments. Furthermore, the development of educational opportunities offered by online
learning prospects, particularly for students at all grade levels. Both developed and developing
countries are seen to profit greatly from this. Despite the achievements, there are some
setbacks, such as poor quality (which frequently results from under investment in institutions)
and the failure to reach a sizable portion of those groups that have historically been ignored by
the higher educational sector (Gajaraj, Distance Education: Promise, Performance and
Potential, 2001). In this instance, more students are dealing with issues brought on by poor
learning. Schools around the world are implementing online learning environments, but it is
helpful for professional development initiatives and for developing nations. Online learning
resources are used by both schools and other academic and professional settings to broaden
educational opportunities, encourage professional interaction, and provide staff members with
access to technological resources.

Students can benefit greatly from online learning, but the technology aspects were twice as
deficient as the needs. There are many positive benefits to human activity, living, and
education brought on by computer technology, particularly the growth of network technology.
E-learning will typically have the following negative and positive consequences if it is the
primary method of instruction, according to research so far. Young people will fall victim to
negative impacts, while young people who experience favorable effects will advance (UNICEF,
2019). First and foremost, online education has benefits for students and teachers by
increasing the effectiveness of both teaching and learning. This is because pupils will be able
to complete the assignments set by the teacher promptly and effectively if online learning is
used. In addition, the usage of online learning systems enables lecturers and instructors to
post exercises and assignments on social networking sites like Google Classroom and
Schoology. The technicality of its use itself is a negative aspect of online learning. These
effects include the fact that technology is not always effective, that learning online might result

in social isolation, and that communication skills are not always developed in pupils. By having
students physically attend class, it is simple to address the drawbacks of online education.
Because of their environment, many students find it difficult to concentrate. Since their
communication skills are not well-documented, the recital is unsustainable.

According to students, taking classes online is merely a formality and does not actually
replace traditional classroom instruction. The idea of “figure it out yourself” is sometimes the
foundation of online testing. Especially if they have the honor, the students receive a low score
in the situation that they weren’t prepared for. While according to teacher, they are in a difficult
circumstance with insufficient preparation and support. The requirements and rules set forth by
the institutions are insufficient to successfully manage the problem. Exams and tests are
currently used as assessment criteria, hence digital learning is not fit for them. Everyone who
is taking an online course is, in a sense, having difficulties. It has been claimed that, after two
years, both teachers and students were able to adapt to the gradual removal of the online
course and its replacement with regular face-to-face instruction.
