Cedar College is hosting its annual Bon re for the students of Cedar College - DHA Campus on
Thursday, 17 November 2022 from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
In order to be allowed to participate in the event, students need to submit a signed copy
of the attached Parental Consent form at the Front Desk of their respective campus by
Monday, 14th November 2022. THIS DEADLINE WILL NOT BE EXTENDED.
Upon veri cation of the signed parental consent form, the students name will be
con rmed for the event.
For the purpose of this trip the College will take responsibility of arranging for the venue, transport to
and from the venue, food, water, arrangements for security and ambulance (in case of an emergency)
and whatever else is deemed necessary for the wellbeing and enjoyment of all those attending.
However, students who submit the signed Parental Consent form, and then choose to not attend the
event, will be charged PKR 3000/- in the next fee voucher. This is non-negotiable.
Please be sure to inform us of any medical information regarding your son/daughter that we need to be
aware of.
Parents/ guardians must take full responsibility for their son’s/daughter’s behaviour and conduct which
at all times must be beyond reproach. Any conduct violations before, during or after the trip will be
liable to disciplinary action as stated in the Handbook and Code of Conduct.
While we have taken all possible security measures (security protocol to, from and at the Beach and a
fully functional ambulance) and will take the maximum possible number of male and female staff and
faculty members to chaperone the event, we need parents to reinforce the need to follow all the rules to
ensure their child’s own safety, as well as that of others.
Please note that should any security concerns or uncertainty arise in the city, this event may be
cancelled/postponed at short notice - students will be informed of any cancellation via email and/or
SMS.
Please read the attached Information and Rules carefully as they form the basis of your consent for your
child’s participation.
Please only sign and submit the completed Information and Consent Form if you are
comfortable with your son/daughter attending this event.

Transport: Cedar College will arrange for transport to and from the venue. Private transport
is NOT allowed. Note: No bus will be departing from the venue ahead of schedule.
• Students must be mindful that they are representing not just themselves, but also Cedar
College at this event and therefore their behaviour should be beyond reproach at all times.
Students found violating any of the rules stated here, and/or the Cedar College Code of
Conduct, and/or Student Handbook in any way or form will face serious repercussions
which may lead to expulsion.
• Students found in the possession of and/or using cigarettes, vapes, electronic
cigarettes, recreational drugs, alcohol or any other form of banned substances
before, during or after the event will face serious repercussions, including
expulsion from Cedar College.

• For their own safety, students are strictly NOT allowed to enter the water or step outside the
area cordoned off for the event.
• Any medical condition af icting a student and/or any medicine that he/she may be
carrying during the event must be brought to our notice prior to the event.
• Students are allowed to bring their iPads, cell phones and other expensive items to the beach
at their own risk. The school will not assume any responsibility for items that may be stolen
or lost during the course of the event. Therefore, all students are advised to avoid bringing
what they do not need.
• Students must dress within the bounds of modesty: students wearing anything
objectionable will not be allowed to board the buses. Boys may wear
swimming trunks, tracks, t-shirts and slippers. Girls may wear t-shirts, long
shorts or capris (below the knees), tracks and slippers, however sleeveless
shirts, shirts with spaghetti straps, crop tops, heels are NOT allowed.
Swimsuits, speedos, tank tops, tight shirts and other revealing clothes are not
allowed. Given the chilly weather, all students are advised to carry a warm
jacket, shawl or sweater for the evening.
• Punctuality is expected. The vans will leave the assigned drop-off point at 8:30 AM
sharp. Students who arrive after 8:30 AM, will be left behind.
• Students MUST be picked up from their assigned pick up point by 8 PM. The
staff will leave the campus at 8:30 PM.
• Students may carry one backpack/ bag each, with an extra set of clothes, towel, sunblock
etc. We reserve the right to check any student’s backpack/bag at any point before, during or
after the course of the event.
• Lunch will be served at the beach. Water will be available on the buses for both legs of the
journey and at the beach in unlimited quantity. Students can carry packaged snacks. Energy
drinks and home-cooked food is NOT allowed.
• Sharing of photographs and videos taken at the beach on social media or other mediums
without the consent of all those in the image will result in serious consequences as per
Cedar’s Harassment Policy.
