Purpose: To remove toner build up causing

light bands.

Item Description
1 Mylar Scraper
Prerequisites: Obtain ROS cleaner tool. If not
with machine then order spared part
042K03560. Picture below shows location of
the tool on some machines.
Qty __ 4. Remove drum module.

__ 5. Caution! Do not to touch the IBT belt with the
cleaner tool (Fig4-A).
Suggestion: For better control, hold the cleaner
wand as shown below.
Place the scraper between the mag roll and
rubber seal of the suspect developer
housing. (Fig 4-B)

Procedure:
__ 1. Unclip cleaner pad

__ 2. Install Mylar

__ 6. With slight back and forth motion insert the

bar gap (4-C). There should be a snug fit.

__ 7. Push the scraper all the way to the inboard

spread out tabs and then insert a M3 screw
to hold the scraper in place.

unit to avoid hitting the IBT.

__ 10. Run test to check for bands.
