3.1.1.2 STAFFING REQUIREMENTS

Shopping Mall
Administrative services

 Administrative Head Officer- the person whose responsible for overall

administrative functions as well as day-to day operations of the business.

 Administrative Assistant Officer- the person whose work consists of supporting

management.

 Executive Assistant- is an employee of an organization with head/ managers

authority.

 Record Officer- is someone in the office that is knowledgeable about the office's

records and who has been authorized to make decisions concerning them.

 Supply Management Officer- oversees financial and management matters

relating to stock supplied or received in the development.

Planning services

The officers in charge in this services includes occupations concerned with the

formulation, implementation and evaluation of development plans, programs and

events.

 Planning and Management Officer- typically this involves tasks such as ensuring

development within an area is done in accordance to scheme, policy, and

community expectations.
 Event Officer- responsible for managing an event for conception through to

staging.

 Historical and Cultural Officer- involved in the identification, assessment,

conservation and interpretation of places and objects that have cultural heritage

value; compile and supply educational information of Rizal’s cultural heritage and

conservation

 Public Safety Officer- Patrols assigned beat and responds to emergency calls to

protect persons or property from crimes, fires, or other hazards. They also

inspect establishments for compliance with local regulations.

 Research Officer- responsible to make research schedules to monitor the

activities of the buildings within the Tourism Complex.

Manager

As a mall manager, you are primarily responsible for leasing store locations and

other facilities to business owners. It is beneficial to have many years of related

experience in leasing or retail management, as well as strong customer service skills.

Other job duties include overseeing maintenance of the mall facilities, handling

complaints by customers, ordering maintenance supplies, and taking care of potential

safety issues for the mall visitors.

Community Development Department

Community Development Department is committed to providing excellent service


to both our internal and external customers with the highest degree of reliability and

timeliness, while safeguarding the public assets entrusted to us.

Team Player

Team Player is to deliver a great client experience through assessing needs,

product education and engaging communication to provide a personalized shopping

environment.

Retail store tailor-alterations

Provide positive input and valuable assistance throughout the entire customer

experience to ensure that each guest is satisfied and receives a final product that is

customized to look attractive, fit well, and feel just right.

Marketing Director

Marketing Director is to create and drive traffic by delivering differentiated,

sponsor able experiences (campaigns, initiatives, events) and the development of a

comprehensive annual marketing strategy, inclusive of acquisition and activation tactics

(physical and digital) which result in increased revenue and repeat shopper visitation,

across multiple properties.

Assistant Director, Marketing & Business Development

This position is responsible to assist in the creation, development, and

implementation of the overall revenue generation strategies and strategic marketing


direction of the shopping center and in order to meet corporate property business and

marketing objectives.

Payments Marketing Specialist

Payments Marketing Specialist will support and assist the Credit/Gift Card Sales

Promotion Director with day-to-day planning & execution associated with marketing the

Credit Card, Gift Card and other payment tenders.

Team Lead (Keyholder)

In the absence of the management team, the Team Lead supervises all store

personnel, including implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures and

corporate directives.

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately

complex data and information, prepares presentations, and composes straightforward

written descriptions of results. Interaction is driven by foot, telephone and mail traffic.

Foot traffic consists of the general public, merchants and tenants, maintenance and

contractor personnel, security and police personnel and related persons to each of

those categories, all day long. Under limited supervision, the person in this role provides

general administrative support to a department or group of professionals.

Cashier
A Cashier's primary role is to assist customers in the in-store check-out process.

Main duties include ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring

coupons, collecting payment and giving appropriate change. Responsible for counting the

contents of cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records and

withdrawals. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when

stock is low.

Janitors

Janitors keep office buildings, stores, and other places clean, sanitary, and in good

condition. Some do only cleaning, while others have a variety of duties. In addition to

keeping the inside of buildings clean and orderly, some janitors work outdoors, mowing

lawns, sweeping walkways. Some janitors may also monitor the heating and cooling

systems, ensuring that they function properly.

Security Guard

Mall Security Guards ensure the safety of everyone at the mall. They work for

stores or the shopping center itself, patrolling the premises, checking surveillance

equipment, and removing those who pose a threat. Mall Security Guards assist during

emergencies and contact law enforcement when required.

Announcer

Announcer gives entertainment they Present music, news, sports, the weather,

the time, and commercials. Interview guests and moderate panels or discussions on
their shows. Announce station programming information, such as program schedules,

station breaks for commercials, or public service information. Make promotional

appearances at public or private events

Financial services

The officer in charge in these services concerned with the management of

financial resources through organized process of recording of financial records and

reports. They also concerned with treasury administration and cashiering.

 Accounting Officer- reviews a business's financial reports and other documents

to ensure they are accurate; reviews the books of account, and confirms that

records of expenditures and profits of a business are correct.

 Bookkeeper- Responsible for managing the ledger, or compilation of some or all

of the Rizal Cultural Central Plaza accounts. Maintain an entire Tourism Complex

books and make numerous daily computations to update accounting records.

 Budget Officer- Directs and coordinates activities of personnel responsible for

formulation, monitoring and presentation of budgets for controlling funds to

implement program objectives of public and private organizations

 Cashiering Officer- Receives funds from customers and employees, disburses

funds, and records monetary transactions in the Tourism Complex or place of

public accommodation.

Information, art and tourism services


In these services, Officer concerned with the enlightenment of the general public on

the functions, objectives and activities within the development.

 Information Officer

- Tourist Receptionist - Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them

appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; maintains security

and telecommunications system.

 Tourism Operation Officer- officers develop and promote tourism in order to

attract visitors and generate significant economic benefits for a particular region

or site.

Convention center

 Executive Officer- They provides high-level clerical and administrative support,

including but not limited to conducting research, preparing reports, handling

information requests, and other functions such as preparing correspondence,

receiving visitors, and scheduling meetings.

 Operation Manager- Manage all aspects of operations within the convention

center and grounds including setup for events and cleanliness of the facility.

 Event Coordinator- Coordinates event set-ups for conferences, conventions,

performing arts, trade shows, meetings, and concerts, and manages events.

- Meets with client representatives, determines set-up needs, communicates

needs to other departments, and schedules services and staffing.


 Treasure/accountant- Disburses funds by entering and preparing checks,

attaching documentation, posting disbursements to accounts, preparing journal

vouchers, balancing and updating reports, and filing.

 Maintenance Inspector- Makes installations, maintains and repairs systems by

acquiring parts, using specialized tools, operating machinery, and having

knowledge regarding sites such as mechanical and electrical systems.

 Service Administrator- Organizes and directs daily operations of a division by

performing administrative duties, overseeing programs, projects, and manager

level personnel.

Hotel

Executive Department

 Hotel Manager- is responsible for the day-to-day management of a hotel and its

staff. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of a hotel and its staff.

They have commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management,

planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including front-of-house

(reception, concierge, and reservations), food and beverage operations, and

housekeeping.

 Resident Manager- responsible for the day-to-day operations of a hotel or

lodging facility, including taking care of costumers complaints and taking care of

problems.

 Front Office Manager- To ensure that all Departments under his supervision are

successful and as independent profit center as possible, ensuring maximum


guest satisfaction consistent with our hotel standards, through planning,

organizing, directing and controlling all aspects related to the revenues and

operating expenses.

 Clerks- A secretary at a hotel typically works under the direct supervision of the

hotel manager and performs clerical duties. Hotel secretaries answer calls,

handle mail, respond to email and occasionally work on filing and billing.

Front Office Department

 Guest Service Agent- responsible for greeting and registering the guest,

providing outstanding guest service during their stay, and setting the guest’s

account upon completion of their stay.

 Concierge- responsible to answer any guest enquiries regarding the city, events

and attractions

 Security Personnel- Hotel security officers help protect guests and their

valuables, as well as fellow hotel employees.

 Van Driver/ Bellman- responsible for transporting guest to and from the hotel to

historical and natural attractions within the province as well as assisting the guest

with recommendations for restaurants and tourists activities.

Housekeeping Department

 Hotel Housekeeper- duties are among the most important in the business.

Housekeeper contributes to guest comfort and ensures the daily cleaning and

tidying of all the hotel bedrooms and any public areas.


 House Person- Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain

guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and

orderly manner.

 Room Attendants- The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest

rooms and public areas of the Hotel are cleaned and linens are restocked,

ensuring the Hotel is maintained to the high presentation.

Sales Department

 Director of Sales- he/she manages the sales effort and supports the Hotel

Manager on operational issues. Responsible for maximizing the occupancy and

the average daily rate of the hotel.

 Sales Manager- assists the Director of sales and services new and existing

accounts to ensure repeat business.

Maintenance and Security Department

Responsibilities include:

 Coordinates building maintenance and repairs with Buildings & Grounds

Maintenance that affect normal building operation.

 Provides occupants with updates of electrical, water and other service outages

and scheduled shutdowns.

 Manages the overall building security.

Food Department

 Food and Beverage Director- in charge on the hotel’s foor service operations.
 Chef- responsible for overseeing all individuals who work under their charge in

the kitchen.

Accounting Department

 Chief Controller- in charge of the entire accounting department.

 General Cashier- accounts for all cash collections in accordance hotel/ corporate

policy and procedure.

stores that sell groceries. The supermarket typically has aisles for meat, fresh produce,

dairy, and baked goods. Shelf space is also reserved for canned and packaged goods

and for various non-food items such as kitchenware, household cleaners, pharmacy

products and pet supplies.

Movie/theater

 Movie theater is a place where people go to watch films for entertainment.
