Reflection.
My significant learning/s today in Educational technology refers to technology
that usually helps facilitate collaboration in an active learning environment.
This can help me with easy access to information, accelerated learning, and
fun opportunities to practice what I learn. It enables students like me to explore
new subjects and deepen their understanding of difficult concepts. Through the
use of technology inside and outside the classroom, students can gain 21 st-
century technical skills necessary for future occupations. It facilitates an in-depth
understanding of the fundamentals of technology and its operations. There is a
range of objectives of educational technology to help the teaching-learning
process yield the best possible results efficiently and economically. We need to
prioritize the desired learning objectives so that we can create an effective way
of learning. Technology is a very useful tool in all aspects of our life especially in
education but we should respond by engaging with them. It has advantages and
disadvantages when it comes to the used of advanced technology and that’s
the thing that we should consider to become effective users of technology.
Technology can make our work easier so we should apply the different
netiquettes that we must have in ourselves. It will help us to become a professional
shortly by applying the skills and knowledge that we learned from this topic.

My significant learning/s today are Different theories that unpin educational
technology.
These can help me in understanding the different theories that unpin
educational technology which widens my knowledge to be an effective use of
technology. We need to know and learned this kind of approach because it is
part of our daily life and how we can deal with different technological devices
that we have in the present time. The theories mentioned in the presentation
described and summarizes our understanding of today’s learning theory which
provides a framework for understanding how people learn. Generally speaking,
behaviorism focuses on the objective and observable aspects of learning, the
cognitive theory focuses on how thinking processes and stores information,
constructivism regards learning as a process by which students actively construct
knowledge, while connectionism is based on the following proposition: learning
includes The ability to build and navigate the network. These theories can provide
information for our teaching practice and the use, selection, and implementation
of various online teaching and learning strategies. Each theoretical point of view
provides advantages and disadvantages for the design and development of
online learning, which must be considered when deciding the best method for a
particular online learning situation.
We should learn this topic to be able to understand the theories that
educational technology has. It will use in our professions where we can discuss or
share with others what we’ve learned and how does this platform is very useful. It
brings the knowledge and skill that our ancestors have before they come up with
these technological advancements. It serves as their basis to develop more and
effective tools for our progress.

My significant learning/s today is the Scopes of Educational Technology such
as Behavioural Technology, Instructional Technology, Training Psychology,
Instructional Design, and Training Psychology.
These can help me in the firm configuration of technology where there are
different ways or purposes on why we deal in technology. As mentioned above,
we have a different scope that technology can be used to generalized a study.
It provides accurate information that we must know and understood by the
means of technological devices where we access information through this
platform. The flow of digital information has increased the complexity of
strengthening the interconnection of information, knowledge, and cultural
production spaces to generate new types of the determination of shared
meanings. A dynamic mix of people and institutions participated in different ways
and at different times according to their interests and capabilities and the needs
of the project or program when it comes to the use of technology.
I can apply these learnings to have a productive delivery of skills and
information to my future learners. It is important to my future profession so that I
can produce active learning progress for my learners.

My significant learning/s today are Working Areas of Technology which
emphasizes the different areas in which technology can be applied such as Area
of Curriculum Construction, Selection of Audio-Visual materials, Development of
Teaching-Learning material, Teacher Preparation or Teacher Training,
Development and Selection of Teaching-Learning Strategies and Tactics,
Effective Utilization of the Hardware and To Provide Essential Feedback and
Control through Evaluation.
These can help me to widen my knowledge on what area we can apply the
use of technology. Each area has its use of technology and it is very useful for us
to learn this topic so that we can engage in the development of technology used
in a work area. All professions need the use of technological devices such as
computers, laptops, etc. It enables them to create organized instructions and
information and for the development of a company or school. As a future
facilitator, I can apply these learnings to have an effective and productive way
of learnings towards my students. Technology transforms the learning experience.
Students have access to an incredible amount of new opportunities. From
learning how to code to learning how to better collaborate across teams and
with their instructors–technology empowers students to be more creative and be
more connected. New tech has super-charged how we learn today.
As we are facing the pandemic caused by Covid-19, technology is the main
medium in every aspect because our interactions are limited. We pay more
attention to this platform to provide our needs especially in the education system
in which changed into a new normal way. Discipline and responsibility are what
we need to consider by when using this platform.

My significant learning/s today is the Traditional Educational Technology where
it is a type of technology that is based on any tradition or culture which is generally
transferred from one generation to another generation until it is modified to the
new one.
This can help me in supplementing the ideas that I just learned to create an
effective teaching-learning process. Traditional lectures can be accompanied by
new-age learning tools and technologies, but lecture materials should be used as
a supplement to classroom activities and transferred to the Internet so that
students can refer to them outside of the classroom. Class time is best suited for
discussing courses, participating in team activities, and completing class projects.
If students wish, they can generally choose to accelerate their learning progress
or even use digital learning tools to study ahead of time. By helping children think
outside of their typical learning model, digital learning stimulates creativity and
gives children a sense of accomplishment that encourages further learning. From
reducing the need for paper for class notes and books to saving time through
quick access to information and ease of research, digital learning provides an
effective way to reduce costs, maximize resource use, and increase the influence
and influence of students and students. The same as educators.
Both traditional and contemporary tools are very useful in our daily lives
especially in education because they both give the knowledge and skills that we
must have to develop our learning progress. They provide an effective medium
to access the information by the learners.

My significant learning/s today in Educational technology is the Philippines
which refers to the technological devices that help to facilitate an active learning
environment.
This can help me in giving importance to the different technology that helps
me as a learner to get the information and skills that I must have. Transforming
teaching through technology is about creating new opportunities for higher-
Order thinking and collaboration that were not previously available. As an
example, one of the most common, powerful, and proven benefits of technology
is the ability of computers to rapidly process large volumes of data and produce
outputs or defined actions based on that analysis. From simple, drill-and-practice
software in the earliest days of computer-assisted learning, the power of
technology has evolved to include the use of algorithms to provide different
learners with different input and sequences of learning and predict students at
risk based on data. The situation of the educational technology in the Philippines
is very poor compared with that of the other countries and also we are still very
far from that of the “classroom of the future”; how and what we have showed
represented how we see educational technology today. Furthermore, the fund
intended for our education is insufficient, what more for educational technology.
However, what I’ve realized is that the available resources as simple as internet
access and LCD projector could be enhanced or utilized in a better way.
We need to use it properly and in a good way so that we can develop an
effective engagement in technology. So, it can create a meaningful way of how
we take the different gap between the situation of technology in the Philippines
and it is used it. It will lead to a better understanding of educational technology.

My significant learning/s today are about the Models of Technology that may be
employed in the classroom where these are the different technological devices
that are used in the teaching-learning process.

This can assist me in transforming learning by introducing a new connected

teaching model. This methodology connects teachers with their students, allowing
me to improve education and personalize learning through the use of resources
and tools. The advantages of integrating technology in the classroom can no
longer be contested as technology continues to invade every aspect of our lives.
iPads and tablets, for example, can be used to replace heavy textbooks.
Smartphones make it possible to conduct quick research and access instructional
programs. Parent-teacher communication and student activities can both benefit
from the use of social media. Technology consumption can be tracked via
monitoring services. Teachers can use technology to collect student data that can
help them improve their students' learning outcomes. Individualized training is
available in almost all apps and programs. This allows students to concentrate on
their individual needs and work at their own pace. This also allows teachers to
concentrate their efforts on children who are having difficulties or who require
further attention. Technology advances at a breakneck pace. To guarantee that
children are equipped for our ever-changing world, educators must keep up with
these developments. Incorporating technology into the classroom can help
students learn more effectively. It's also vital to note that technology isn't a perfect
substitute for old-fashioned approaches. Technology should be used to improve
student learning results and enrich the entire educational experience. As a result,
the technology deployed will be able to have a significant impact on student
learning.

This topic will serve as a preparing knowledge for how I will use various models
of technological devices to be used in my future pupils to construct and develop
accurate and effective instruction for my learners to be able to adapt to the usage
of technological improvements as a future educator.

My significant learnings today are about the Traditional and Contemporary

Technology in Education are the tools that are used to construct instruction for the learners.

These will assist me in combining traditional and modern technological gear. Teachers
can use this technology to assist specific pupils who are having difficulty in their studies. This
could be a fantastic addition to a traditional schoolhouse. Students' skills are improved and
study-related problems are solved in a group setting when computer-assisted instruction is
used. This is a useful tool for personal study. Aside from that, computer-assisted training
includes writing and study programs for a variety of courses. Since the advent of the Internet
and the media era, most schools, colleges, and universities have begun to update their
teaching techniques. Students, parents, and teachers can use social media to stay in touch
and share information about homework and activities. Learners can conduct more activities
for self-learning and save time by using such technology. Students' critical thinking, problem-
solving, and choice skills were not developed because previous teaching methods relied on
repetition and memorization of knowledge. Students are encouraged to interact in
enhancing learning, resulting in increased productivity. In today's education, both
conventional and modern teaching approaches are successful and valuable. Traditional
education offered in schools was not intended for all students. Discrimination was rampant
among the children. It was formerly thought that education was reserved for the upper crust.
Children from lower-class households were not permitted to attend school. Traditional
schooling was not designed to fit everyone's needs. Everyone has access to contemporary
schooling. Anyone can enroll in a school and receive a contemporary education. We may
claim that modern education is available to all children as a result of modern education. The
idea of equality was taught as modern education expanded. It was decided that everyone
should be treated equally. This resulted in educational equality. Today, we have arrived at a
point where all children, regardless of caste, religion, or social status, sit in the same classroom
and study together. This was not the case with conventional schooling, which was not
available to everyone. Moreover, teachers in the culture were not taught traditional
schooling. Modern education, on the other hand, does not discriminate based on gender.
Both girls and boys have equal access to schooling.

As a future educator, the two forms of educational technologies will act as a very
valuable tool for having efficient and useful teaching that will allow students to engage in a
variety of electronic gadgets, whether conventional or contemporary.

My significant learning today is about Teachers utilized instructional media

where it shows how the teachers used and utilized effectively the different
instructional media.
This can assist me as a future educator in determining how I would connect
with this type of platform to create and improve the learning experience of my
future students. Using media requires the instructor to depart from the usual
lecture technique and encourage students to learn via the use of media. When
pupils are primed, this method works best. Students will struggle to establish the
link between the learning objectives and the media they are exposed to if they
are not sufficiently educated about what they are supposed to learn. When trying
to enhance student comprehension of complicated issues, it is extremely
beneficial to repeat the media. Before the conversation, use the media to
provide students with an anchor. Guide pupils through a description of the
subjects or a debate of them. As a case study, rerun the media and have students
assess what they see using the ideas and concepts just covered. Incorporate an
active conversation into the rebroadcast by asking students to shout out the
themes they perceive in the sequences. This technique aids in reinforcing what
they've already learned. Students can also create media. This method invites
students to take on the role of instructor and develop content that will captivate
students and assist them in mastering subjects.
Traditional education techniques are supplemented by the use of media
to enhance teaching and learning. Good teaching connects students' prior
knowledge to the course's learning objectives. Using media to engage students,
enhance information retention, stimulate interest in the subject matter, and show
the applicability of numerous ideas is beneficial.

My significant learning today is about Student Utilize Instructional Media

where it shows how the learners enable to used and utilized the different media
as a platform of learning experiences.
It will assist me in determining how I will effectively connect with this medium
as a student. The main problem is that when media is utilized for teaching, it is
frequently mistaken with the instructional techniques and information it conveys.
Because computers allow for high amounts of communication between students
and computer-delivered educational systems, computer-based instruction is
sometimes believed to be highly "interactive." Nonetheless, most media allow for
interaction, but certain media do so more rapidly and cost-effectively. Any media
appears to be capable of enhancing learning as long as the information content
and instructional methods conveyed are sufficient to promote student learning.
According to existing research, when external events impact learning, such
events must promote the employment of mental processes necessary for learning
objectives by students who are unable or unwilling to offer them for themselves.
Existing media resources may be used in lectures to help students become more
interested in and knowledgeable about the topic being taught. The student has
pushed knowledge in this traditional method, which is teacher-centric. The
instructor can use media to help beginner learners understand expert information.
Because of the rapid pace of technology development, teachers are always
faced with the issue of determining the most effective media channel for
reaching their students. Instructors can also develop their media to deliver
information more effective and efficient manner.
As a future teacher, it will serve as a foundation for how I will prefer my
teaching style by guiding and supporting these teaching materials to formulate
an efficient instruction for my future learners so that they will engage in this type
of platform to gain new skills when it did come to using this tool.

My significant learning/s today is all Blended learning, which allows me to
cater to all pupils regardless of their situation. Students can learn at their speed
using blended learning.
This can assist me in learning more in any area. Blended learning allows me
to expand my knowledge no matter where I am. We can choose the technique
or method of teaching we want to use from the several blended learning models.
As a working student amid a pandemic, blended learning is extremely beneficial
to me. Furthermore, all students, regardless of age, learn in different ways, and
teaching methods should reflect this by creating programs that cater to visual,
auditory, and kinetic learners alike.
We will be able to improve education, information retention, engagement,
responsibility, and fun by heavily integrating technologies. Blended learning is
more vital than ever, regardless of the business, from schools to corporations, and
from all walks of life. A blended learning strategy promotes expanded literacy
and learning by providing access to a variety of flexible learning contexts.

REFLECTION.
My significant learning/s today is the Computer as a tutor in this new age
of learning
This can help me in revolutionizing my teaching career in a variety of ways,
such as creating presentations on a topic that include video clips that
complement the lesson. Computers also have made it much easier for teachers
like myself to modify the way I give my lessons.
It does not replace the teacher, but it does take on some of the duties that
were traditionally allocated to teachers, who must now take on the role of means
of guiding. Because computer activities must adhere to the lessons/curriculum,
they are not the be-all and end-all of learning. Mixing computer exercises is a new
responsibility for teachers who see the software and related software as an
alternative platform for conveying information and assisting learning activity in
the classroom. We will see the computer in classrooms as a widespread tool for
improving learners' thinking, communications, and collaboration skills in the next
years. Computers will become an integral part of the future classroom, rather than
just a gadget that does repetitive drills and exercises.
A computer can help students learn, but it will not be able to take the role
of the teacher in the classroom. Teachers are responsible for imparting
knowledge from materials to pupils as well as controlling and facilitating the
classroom.

REFLECTION.
My significant learning/s today on the topic of Digital Literacy Skills in the
21st Century is that people nowadays are more able to go beyond the fastest
innovations of technology. In which the digital literacy skill in education plays a
more important role such as the students know how to create, communicate, and
share digital content.
This can help me to be more engaged in my study, especially in light of the
current pandemic, in which mixed learning approaches. As students, we must
learn how to properly use the social media platform that is currently being used
in education. Internet and through some other digital media, students are finding
new ways to interact with their interests. When it comes to reading or knowing
more about their potential interests, they are no longer limited to printed material.
It can assist us students in applying critical thinking abilities to assess the quality of
digital data and methods, allow people to interact more effectively.
Digital literacy helps me as a future educator in which the students who
become digitally literate understand technical knowledge, authoring norms such
as property and plagiarism, how to obtain online material, and social
responsibilities while communicating on social media platforms. Above all, digital
literacy is a critical component of today's learning.
