    Lesson:4. Theme: Our motherland

    Materials: pictures,cards, video instruction, computer,book, white board etc.

    Lesson procedure

    1.Organization.

    Greeting between teacher and students. Students should give information for today (day,date, weather
    etc.)Then teache will write the date on the board and check students attendance.

    2.Warm-up. Sing a song about Rain


    3. Presentation of new theme.

    Theme: Our motherland

    Pre-activity.

    Teacher will ask to students open the book on page 56 and look at the pictures.

    How do you think?

    What is it?

    Which country you can see on picture?

    Teachers explanation.

    Teacher will tell to students some information about pictures and read the text.

    Ex-1a p-79

    And teacher show to students pictures related to text.

    Students look at the blackboard and repeat after teacher


    6.Post activity.

    Students should give their own examples .Then do the other exercise.

    Ex-1d Are the sentences True or False? Correct false

    sentences.

    a)Manas is a popular name in Kyrgyzstan.

    b)Kyrgyzstan is in Eastern Asia. False. Kyrgyzstan is in Central Asia.

    c)Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China are neighbours of Kyrgyzstan.

    d)People from different countries visit Kyrgyzstan.

    e)The name Kyrgyz means fifty.

    f)There is a golden yurt in the middle of the national flag.

    g)Bishkek had different names such as Manas, Pishpek and Frunze.

    7. Consolidation.

    To consolidate the lesson by giving some questions about the theme in order to check students
    understanding.

    8. Home task.

    Learn by heart new words and write essay about theme « our motherland «

    9. Evaluation.

    To evaluate students knowledge according to their participants: they speaking, doing exercises.

    10. Conslusion.

    To conslude the lesson by discussing the lesson . Who likes and doesn't like? Why? Who was active and
    passive?
