ACTIVITY: MY TRAVEL BLOG

FIRST GRADING REQUIREMENT

OBJECTIVES:

 To compose a significant content by sharing a travel experience;

 To showcase students’ creativity through writing;
 To help improve students’ quality of writing;
 To have deeper appreciation of the Philippine destinations through sharing of actual experiences

GUIDELINES FOR THE ACTIVITY:

1. This activity should be done individually.
2. Compose a travel blog about one Philippine destination (may it be a city, municipality, or province) that you have visited
recently (except Baguio City).
3. You can write your OWN TITLE for your Travel Blog
4. The blog must include the following:

- At least 1 photo of yourself taken at the destination ( You can add more images if you want)
- Brief info about the destination
- How to get there (transportation guide)
- What to do (tourism activities)
- Where to stay (Where you stayed or if none, suggested accommodations)
- Where to eat (recommended restaurants/must try food according to what you’ve
experienced)
- Other interesting information about the destination like trivia.
5. Make sure to use words that best describe your travel experience to give the reader a feel of what you are trying to share.
6. It should be a minimum of 2 pages and maximum of 3 pages only.

FORMAT OF THE TRAVEL BLOG

1. Output should be encoded in a Long Bond Paper (8.5” X 13”)
2. Orientation of the paper: Landscape
3. Margin: Narrow
4. Font Style: Century Gothic (Note: you may use other font style for the titles ONLY but for the body USE CENTURY
GOTHIC)
5. Font Size: 12
6. Save the file in PDF format.

**The File Name should be:

Last name_Destination (for example: DELA CRUZ_Isabela Travel Blog)
7. Upload your travel blog in Canvas.
