ANNUAL FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS
FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
It is a federal immigration requirement to show adequate funding to pay for your tuition,
fees, and living expenses in order to receive an I-20 document and apply for the F1
student visa. The school fees and living expenses listed below are the estimated cost for a
student to attend HACC for one year. Students who are privately funded are required to
submit bank statements that are dated within six months of the student’s anticipated
starting semester. Students who are funding their own studies can submit a bank
statement in their name. Students who have private financial sponsors must submit an
affidavit of support and current bank statement showing the required funds.
Tuition costs may be subject to change without notice. These amounts are per year and
are based on a 12-credit academic schedule for both the fall and spring semesters. The
charge for each additional credit beyond 12 is $327.25/credit. Summer school tuition is
not included. International students are required by federal immigration regulation to be
enrolled full time.
Average living costs for a 12-month year are estimated below. This is a modest “no
extras” budget. It is highly recommended that you bring approximately 20% extra.
