Many of the people who receive questions like: “What are you expecting from us’’, the

answers are usually: “I want to attend this conference to develop my skills”, “I think it will
help for the betterment of my future”. The fact is that conferences are designed to help
attendees have a chance to perform their skills, but they also want to receive things
from attendees, such as enthusiasm, knowledge and experiences etc. This is basically
a fair trade, if you want the chance to be yours, you need to have something to give
them as well, as they can’t give you everything after all. 

Asian Youth Forum caught my attention at first. Not about the offer, nor about the place
that it will be held, but about all the amazing activities that will be given during the time
of the forum. Moreover, it has catched my 
attention at the phrases “discussions on each theme, business visits, teamwork and
contest”, which totally match my passion, that is one of the reasons why I’m writing this
essay.

Coming to AYF, I expect a chance to speak, a chance to briefly talk about my country,
and bring a colorful culture to the forum. I would like to get to know about the foreign
countries from my fellow participants. And above all, I want to devote all my enthusiasm,
my experience and my personality to the program, and hope everyone will see me as a
common type of Vietnamese girl - flexible, sophisticated and lovely.

The theme of discussion of AYF is excellent, and I fully hope we could all discuss and
create a healthy forum with each other!.
