Swine Post Cervical AI (Tecnovet - 2020), technologies such as fish egg selection (GenetiRate - 2021)
or manufacturing to strengthen the core business regionalization / localization such as the China
Nelson Factory (2015).

The growth ambition is strong, aiming for a turnover of €200m within 5 years and a continuously
improved high level of profitability. To ensure its scalability and strengthen its process and
organisation, the group has initiated different transformation programs in commercial efficiency,
supply chain, quality and finance & IT systems. To support the growth and these transformations, a
specific focus is done on Lean to build the IMV Business System (IBS) and HR to set up a global HR

Univers 2020 is a subsidiairy company of IMV Technologies that was created in December 2020 to
focus on the development and commercialisation of a technology applied to bovine reproduction.
Univers 2020 is based in L’Aigle, next to the group's headquarters.

The Position

Title : Embedded software engineer C / C++ / QT

Location : Univers 2020 at L’Aigle (France-61)

Position in the Organization: This position will interface with Univers 2020 staff for the
technology/testing activity, and with IMV Imaging for the software/documentation activity. This
position will report to the Chief Technical Officer at Univers 2020, and the head of firmware at IMV
Imaging.

Position Summary and Key accountabilities

The embedded software engineer will be primarily involved in tasks related to the industrialisation of
the software part of a new product. Initially, this will involve formalising the required documentation,
in particular the functional and technical specifications through reverse engineering.

In parallel, developments will be made to the software, designed in C/C++ and QT on Windows 10.
The software development team is composed with an external team from India and a senior
designer/architect in C/C++ from Univers2020.

You will participate in the design of software architecture evolutions in response to new user needs
and in the maintenance of the software's industrial file, in coordination with the development team,
the Product Owner and the system team.
Specific Responsibilities

• Contribute to the functional analysis of user needs

• Participate in the management of the backlog of software developments and defects,
estimate workloads, propose implementation schedules, participate in risk analysis
• Write technical, functional and performance specifications
• Participate in the design of the software architecture
• Write the detailed design of the software system components
• Participate in the development of software using the appropriate languages: C/C++, QT,
application drivers and low layers, communication protocols
• Participate in the design of functional tests
• Design and implement software integration tests on hardware targets
• Execute the tests, record the results, record and analyse the anomalies found
• Participate in debugging, development and documentation of patches
• Implement configuration management of source code and documentation
• Participate in the production launch and writing of the user manual
• Ensure compliance with norms and standards
• Ensure technological and regulatory monitoring
• Provide technical assistance to the After Sales Service and Production departments

Languages: French and English imperative.

Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent with a specialisation in industrial IT

Previous Experience
• More than 3 years of experience in industrial software design and development
• Knowledge of analysis and problem-solving methods, UML
• Knowledge of embedded Windows development environments
• Knowledge of C, C++, QT, XML, JSON, REST API
