With the BYOD or Bring Your Own Device model in schools, it allows students to interact with

other students easily even if they are not sitting right next to one another, it also will help with

costs on technology in the school’s budget as the school will not have to supply as many

electronic devices to the students. Budgeting out the money for the tech department will allow us

more room to work with other departments such as working on improving the school’s

classrooms and textbooks. Given that most students are currently using severely outdated and

despite the increase in student count we have not increased our book supply nor improved it.

With a BYOD, we would be able to cut back the costs in the tech department and also improve

the situation with the classes not having up to date books.
