Praise and gratitude we pray to the presence of Allah SWT, who is the almighty ruler of
the universe, it is His guidance and grace that the author is able to complete the Job Training
Report which was carried out at PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN. Shalawat and
salam do not forget to convey to the Prophet Muhammad, through whom we can all feel the
joys of life.
Given the very short time in carrying out the Job Training in PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI
KOMPONEN which lasts for 1 month starting from FEBRUARY 14, 2022 to April 11, 2022.
Therefore, the author would like to thank Allah swt. also cannot be separated from the
support of many parties who have helped the author to complete this report. With respect, the
author would like to thank:
 Allah the Almighty, the Lord who has bestowed His mercy and guidance,
 Mrs. Khotibah S.Ag, As Guardian of Class XII TPM 2,
 Mrs. Tutik, as an English Teacher for Class XII TPM 2,
 My beloved parents and all of my beloved family who have given me motivation in
the form of moral and material assistance and never stopped giving encouragement,
 Class XII Mechanical Engineering friends and juniors at SMK Negeri 1 Cikampek.
 All parties who have assisted in the preparation of this report.
Finally, realizing that there are still many shortcomings in the preparation of this report,

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION

1. Backround
Practical lessons learned from schools still have no meaning if students are not
given/given Job Training as happens directly in the business world/industrial world. Learning
activities like this are still not enough to prepare a professional workforce in their field.
Therefore, it is necessary to have a learning activity in other forms in schools in the form of
Job Training.
Job Training is the most appropriate means for students to know and practice directly how
the production process takes place in an industry and also as an initial stage to adapt before
students work after graduating from school. That way, students are expected to be able to
improve their learning activities at school on the basis that if they later work in the
business/industrial world, they are really ready and mature, because students first gain
knowledge and experience about the current situation and conditions. carry out Job Training.

2. Job Training base and purpose :


 Job Training in the world of Vocational Secondary Education are based on the
provisions contained in:
 Ministerial Decree No. 0490 of 1993 concerning the Vocational High School
Curriculum which states that education is carried out through two channels, namely
Education Within School and Education Outside School.
 UU no. 2 of 1989 concerning National Education, which prepares students through
guidance, teaching or training activities for their roles in the future.
 Government Regulation Number 29 of 1990 concerning Secondary Education

2.1 Destination :
The Job Training aims to:
 workforce who have professional skills (with the level of knowledge, skills
and work ethic that are in accordance with the guidelines of the work field).

 improving the efficiency of the education process and training of


professionally qualified workers.
 improving, expanding and strengthening the process of absorbing new
technology from the field to school and vice versa.
 Strengthening linkages and integration between schools and the
business/industrial world.

 The benefits obtained in the implementation of Job Training include:
 Get education or knowledge that has not been obtained in the school environment.
 Able to adapt to the work environment in the industry.
 Can know the work system and work situation in an industry or company.
 Can add skills and insight in the professional and trusted business world.
 Can recognize industrial work in the field so that after graduating from SMK Negeri 1
Cikampek and entering industrial work, he can see jobs that are familiar to him.
 To hone the skills that have been given at school and also in accordance with the
Vision and Mission of SMK Negeri 1 Cikampek.

CHAPTER II
PROFIL COMPANY
1. Company History
Autocar Industri Komponen (AIK) is a solution for a component industry located in
the Cikampek area, precisely in the Mandala Industrial Area, Dawuan Toll Gate KM 68-
70 Kalihurip-Cikampek with an area of 58hectare and has Stamping Press Casting and
Machining facilities.

With all the facilities and capabilities we have, including Hi-tech machine facilities,
large areas, capable human resources, very easy access/transportation routes, both land
routes adjoining the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, as well as access/paths to ports. , and
supported by existing capabilities and experience. Autocar Component Industry (AIK)
can always provide what has been our goal and commitment, namely Customer
Satisfaction & Customer Retention.

As an effort to realize this commitment, Autocar Component Industry (AIK)


continues to make efforts to develop and maintain business relationships with all existing
partners, as well as new partners by continuously improving Process Efficiency and
Effectiveness, and implementing environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

At first, before becoming PT AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN (AIK) it has


undergone several name changes, namely:

 On June 18, 1996 it was established as the name of PT. TIMOR


INDUSTRI KOMPONEN (PT.TIK);

 On April 1, 1998 the joint operation of PT.TIK for PT. TIMOR


PUTRA NASIONAL (PT.TPN);

 On December 29, 2003 PT.TIK was taken over by AMAZONES


FINANCE LTD, Singapore;

 On July 27, 2004 PT. TIMOR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN (PT.TIK)


Changed its name to PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN (PT.
AIK);

 On December 14, 2005 PT. AIK was taken over by GLOBAL


TECHNOLOGY and VICTORY POINT LIMIT
2. Company Part (My Activity)
 Product

PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN (AIK), is a service company that


produces car parts or frameworks and engine components for cars.

In the existing structure, PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN are divided into
3 (three) sections or divisions, as follows:

1.     Stamping, which is a place or part consisting of Assembling, Die Maintenance,


and Production The place has production, namely, the body or frame of the car, other
parts needed by the car, the car engine, the assembled Cylinder Head, Shu-tank
assembled, and so on.

2.    Casting, which is a place or part consisting of a warehouse, a metal or cast iron
foundry, a lathe, and Die Maintenance. This place manufactures cast iron or pre-cast
metal, unassembled Cylinder Heads.

3. Machining, which is a place for production machines such as lathes, milling


machines, milling machines, CNC machines and so on.

 Marketing

In general, PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN, which is a company engaged


in services, so the products that have been produced are sent to companies that make
these products, such as, PT. HINO, PT. NISSAN, PT. TOYOTA, and other
companies.

Apart from within the province, PT. AUTOCAR INDUSTRI KOMPONEN also send
their products to other cities such as Malang, Magelang, Pasuruan and Yogyakarta.

CHAPTER III
CLOSED

1. Suggestion
a. Suggestions For School
 In this Job Training activity, students should be placed in the business/industry world
according to the student's skill work program.

 Supervisors from schools should pay more attention to students who are carrying out
PRACTICES by controlling these activities more often.
 Cooperation between schools and industry must be further enhanced so that in the
coming year there will be no difficulty in placing students.
 Schools must be responsible for preparing students by training skills optimally before
students carry out PRACTICE in the business/industrial world.
 Schools have sufficient facilities, so that learning is more conducive so that students
acquire knowledge and technology that are more useful.
b. Suggestions For Company
 Hoping his willingness to accept our colleagues who came, especially SMK Negeri 1
Cikampek.
2. Conclussion
From the internship that I have been running for 1 month. I feel I have gained
invaluable knowledge, I have gained a lot of knowledge and skills. Here I can learn and
practice directly how the system works in the outside world. It turns out that I got a lot of
experience while doing Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) I found my identity while I
was in the agency and interacted with the wider community and I understood the importance
of communication in a business world. Thus, I thank you very much for the support and
guidance from all parties, especially from the school and industry who have given me the
opportunity to carry out the Prakerin program in Industry or companies.
