In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to practice

counting to 20 orally and learn about counting objects in sets up to 20.

 Activity  This lesson will begin by grouping students into groups of two or three
while keeping them in view of the white board so they can participate
in the lesson. I will then hand out a chart with the numbers 1 – 20 on
it. I will hand out 1 mini white board to each group and a expo marker,
students will use this in their down time to write on their white board
how many objects they see on the board. We will discuss numbers 1 –
20 to make sure students have a full understanding of each and every
number before going into the interactive whiteboard activity. After
our discussion of numbers and the confidence students should have at
this point in their counting. We will be using a premade Classflow
flipchart made by Classflow called “Counting to 20”.
 I will introduce the students to the interactive whiteboard and
showcase the flipchart by doing the first 2 slides.
 As a class, students’ groups will take turns coming to the white board
to count the number of objects on the screen and write the number
on the board. While a group is at the whiteboard, students still sitting
will then write the number they see on their mini white board and
hold it up when told to do so. We will continue to do this from slides 2
– 26.
 From slides 27 – 31, there are multiple sections on display. I will call
one group at a time to come up to the board and choose which one
they would like to count and will do the same for the rest of the slides
