LEARNING EPISODE 7
MAKING ON-LINE VIRTUAL LEARNING
ENVIRONMENT SAFE AND CONDUCIVE

SUBMITTED TO: Ma’am Arsenia M. Bayongan

SUBMITTED BY: Jamille Nympha C. Balasi

NOTICE

Unlike the traditional face-to-face classroom environment, online or virtual

environment is a bit difficult to manage. It is because Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
is imaginary ad not in the physical sense. It has no corners or walls and it can be set up
with the support of technology.

As a teacher, what have you discovered to be easy to implement in your virtual

class?

We encountered technical issues during the pandemic, particularly while delivering

lessons and doing group reports. However, one of our lecturers advises us to use alternative
software. We used a variety of software and resources at the time to create compelling and
active reporting. As a result, we have now started using instructional tools like Kahoot,
Quizlet, Quizizz and other entertaining programs.

How did the students show their active participation in the lesson?

They effectively participate in and carry out the assigned activities and lessons and
display no signs of confusion, demonstrating that they are in touch with the day's topic
and giving an excellent performance virtually.

ANALYZE

Which of the following is/are your analysis/analyses of on-line learning environment?

Check one or more.

_____ it was difficult to observe the physical behavior of the students.

_____ it takes time for students to learn how to use the platform.

_____ Students who are alone in their home space find difficulty to make responses.

_____Internet connectivity is a great factor to support a conducive environment.

REFLECT

As a future teacher, I feel that the on-line learning environment can be safe if Instead of

forcing our students to sit through hours of instruction, we could instead engage them in a

variety of fun activities that will build their self-esteem and keep them from getting bored. It is

simpler to indoctrinate students in a style that they are not accustomed to because this will

grab their attention and force them to concentrate more on your teaching strategies.

Because I think that the more enjoyable the teaching process and the assigned exercises

are, the more the pupils will learn and retain.

I think that teaching in a virtual learning environment is it's incredibly difficult.

Additionally, teachers prefer face-to-face interactions over more modern ones because it is

harder to ensure that their students are understanding the material. Some students will benefit

from this since they will rely entirely on material found on Google, which will make it simpler for

them to pass and achieve high ratings and scores. But to put it all together, the teaching and

learning process is flawed.

WRITE ACTION RESEARCH PROMPTS

OBSERVE

Identify the problems brought about by the on-line learning environment.

 The spread of deadly virus

 The Government prioritize the safety of individuals
 We are not yet Covid free
 Self tutoring
 Creates strong independent student
 It saves time
 Learn at your own pace

REFLECT

How would you solve this problem?

I believe that self-discipline is the key to finding the greatest solution to the issues we

are currently facing. In order to correctly establish an order in our society that encourages us

to live freely without receiving any negative feedback, we as socialized citizens must be

aware of our obligations, duties, and responsibilities to foster an active and happy community.
PLAN

What initial plan do you intend to do to solve the problem?

In a culture where people don't abide by laws that have been put in place for our

benefit, that's truly a difficult choice to make. Actually, my only strategy is to educate

people about the risks of improper cooperation and how it may affect us as citizens. There

are no longer any effective solutions to confront these issues since the first battle we must

wage is to determine how we should contribute to society as individuals. First, we need to

develop self-discipline so that we can solve these issues.
