Rizal’s nationalism? Explain.
There are a lot of qualities of Rizal that can describe him first he is a
doctor of medicine, a poet, a good writer. Among these qualities, we can
pick one quality of Rizal is a good writer which helps him to be honored
as a movement towards nationalism. Through the books of Rizal, he made
us aware to be strong citizen in fighting and depending from the invaders
because the books of Rizal was the main reason why the Spaniards get
angry towards Jose Rizal since it was written on books all the bad doings
that the Spaniards do in our country in that sense our fellow citizen are
being enlightened to fought against the Spaniards that’s why Rizal was
sentenced to death through firing squad. Why it was considered as a form
of Nationalism even if Rizal did not join the revolution to fight against the
Spaniards but what Rizal do is he created a new means in fighting
freedom in a way of writing in which it really destroyed the image of the
Spaniards during that time, that why we can really consider that what
Rizal do is a great form of nationalism in which he turned the Filipino
citizen to be courageous in fighting our freedom against the Spaniards.
