El uso de la hora es imprescindible para comunicar las ideas, veamos las diferentes maneras de decir la
hora en inglés.

Short form:

O’clock: en punto. Example: 09:00 a.m. (nine o’clock a.m.)

Para indicar las horas y los minutos empleamos el mismo formato del español y leemos en el mismo orden
en el que se escribe la hora:

“Past” (los minutos que van transcurridos + PAST + la hora en la que estamos).

10: 17 p.m. (seventeen PAST ten at night)

“A quarter past” (A QUARTER PAST + la hora en la que estamos)

9:15 a.m. (A QUARTER PAST nine a.m.)

“Half past” (HALF PAST + la hora en la que estamos)

6:30 p.m. (HALF PAST six p.m.)

“TO” (los minutos que faltan + TO + la hora que sigue).
