8) TOWN PLANNING-SET BACK DEVIATION-COMPOUNDING FEE/BPS/UCIMS- FOLLOW UP -

As verified from the Inspection notes tile of the following building

permit files there is deviation in setbacks .The status is seen as
APPROVED but the follow up action taken by Town planning
authorities is obscure .The Sanctioning Authority is empowered to
compound the offence in relation to setbacks violations (other than
the front setback) in respect of non-high rise buildings only up to
10%, duly recording thereon the violations in writing. The rate of
Compounding fee shall be equivalent to one hundred percent of the
value of the land as fixed by the Registration Department at the time
of compounding for the violated portion and the Government may
revise this rate from time to time or include in BPS or enter in UCIMS
is not clear as the credentials for the above apps were not provided
even after issue of Half margin letter on 31-5-2022.
