Between these two job or career plan, I prefer working in MNC to working in a bank.
Because rationally if we talk about the consideration (salary) for which a man perform his job
is quite lucrative in MNC. Since my desire to achieve a leadership position A MNC
corporation will help me to acquire those. (HOWARD, 2017)
Current Reality
Current reality means analysing the systems or problems to find out the main causes of that
problem. The SWOT analysis means the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of every
person. SWOT analysis helps one to learn about oneself so that he or she can select a career
plans those fits according to his or her skill. A SWOT analysis will examine and external
component that may influence career decisions. Here strength and weakness are internal and
opportunity and threat are external factors. (Vaněk, Mikoláš and Žváková, 2012)
Strength: What skills do I have? Such as interpersonal skills, communication skills.
Weakness: In which sections do I do poorly in?
Opportunities: In what position do I work the hardest?
Threat: What problems do I currently face?
Analysing my current job role such as, I’m very skilful. I impress superior and clients with a
new standpoint. I can build a good communication with my customers and suppliers.
Sometimes I get nervous while presenting recommendation to clients and fear of public
speaking often makes interruption to my presentations. Next month I am going to attend a
seminar about self-development skill which is an opportunity to enhance more skill. One of
my classmate is a much good speaker than I. Now he is taking part with me for the same post
for which I am preparing.
To work in a team or in different work area and collect experience from them motivates me
much .To know something new and innovative always inspire me to do something new and
helps me to fix my weakness and threats . To choose career plan this SWOT analysis will
give me a benchmark about what type of job should I choose. (Pandi, 2020)
Options for Progression
Career progression means moving advance, being promoted, facing challenges, operating
with new employers, implementing upcoming opportunities and threats and getting the most
output from the least amount of input. It means forwarding up during your academic or
professional life. To improve my knowledge working in an industry like an MNC corporation
where I want to work require several step. First of all I have to create a professional
networking because it is the most widely used keeping myself upgrade. Professional groups,
social Medias and also business programs and conference meeting play a vital role to build a
strong networking. Secondly taking support from the superior and peers who have more
current skills is a good way to keep current skill up to date. Watching webinars, podcasts,
video on industrial and leadership skills also become a potential idea. Finally I have to
identify new and innovative opportunity by which my organization gets more benefits.

Conclusion
Job search or setting a well career plan is quite a long term process. Our current skills and
position will define what type of job we should choose. In brief, choosing a career plan is
quite a troublesome stage because we desire a career or job that will make us happy and safe.
So defining a career choice is a process where we need to give ourselves a free time so that
we can settle on whatever will please us in near future. (Sola-Valls et al., 2015)
