I. DESKRIPSI MATA KULIAH


This course deals with the development in implementation of writing skill especially in English essay writing. The
learners will apply the writing theories of sentence form to paragraph writing then create it into essay. It is therefore the
development both theoretical and practical of English writing from a sentence, a paragraph and then an essay. The topics to
be covered include: Three Parts of Essay, Transition between Paragraph, the Three Components in Essay Topics, Selecting
and Presenting Ideas, The Section of the Essay,, The dynamics of an essay, planning an essay, and writing practice.

II. STANDARD KOMPETENSI MATA KULIAH


At the end of the course students are expected to have acquired a good practicing in writing an essay.
