UNIT 1: LOCAL ENVIRONMENT


Lesson 1: GETTING STARTED

I. Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
+ use the lexical items related to traditional crafts and places of interest in an area
+ ask and talk about traditional crafts and places of interest
2. Skills:
+ practice listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.
+ develop interactional skills
3. Attitude:
+ gain the common knowledge of Vietnamese traditional crafts and places of interest.

Ss may find it difficult to talk about the topic with some unfamiliar crafts which they haven’t
known about, so the teacher should be ready to help them with good preparation.
