exhibited at the London Museum, Lancaster House. The first five,

viz. : Old London Bridge, Cheapside, St. Paul's, Entrance to Fleet River and
Charing Cross, portions of which following pages, were first exhibited
are illustrated in the
at the Franco- British Exhibition in 1908. They were then shown at the Festival of Empire,
Crystal Palace, 1911, and at the Whitehall Art Gallery, 1911. They were afterwards
purchased by the Trustees of the London Museum in 1912. The four other Models, viz. :

the Tower of London, the


Royal First Exchange, the Fire of London, and the Frost Fair,

Bankside, were presented to the Museum by John G. Joicey, Esq. The Model of Whitehall
was purchased by Sir Arthur Leetham, and presented to the Royal United Service Institute,
where it is now on permanent exhibition in the Museum.
The Models have all been executed to a scale of 1/1 00th full size, with the exception
of the Whitehall Model, which is 1
/200th.
