 Task 2.
 This text is the verb of cause and effect
 Technological progress is connected with people directly, in particular
medicine. But there are many implications of this progress. For example:
this is a big difference between the poor and the rich, since progress is
expensive. Another consequence is the damage to the environment, which is
associated with the construction of roads, buildings, airports, and so on.
Also, the increase in population affects the food aspect in the world. In
addition, advances in medicine leave high expectations for treatments and
medicines. This is very detrimental to the state budget.
 I think it is inappropriate to compare these two texts. The text in the book is
more like a scientific style, where facts are described. I have rewritten this
paragraph in simpler words so that they are clear to both me and my reader.
 Task 3.
 The plan is clear, logical, expedient.
 I think each part flows smoothly and neatly into the next.
 It seems to me that here some materials are a little distant from each other,
but in the conclusion the author argues that they are all interconnected.
 The connection between the title, thesis and conclusion is clearly
interconnected and the author argued and logically approached this.
 Task 4.
 What are the main effects of recent developments in technology on
education and learning?
 The relevance of this topic lies in the fact that at present, within the
framework of the implementation of the priority national project
"Education", the introduction of information technologies into the
educational process is being actively carried out. The concentration of
modern technical teaching aids contributes to the modernization of the
educational process, activates the mental activity of students, contributes to
the development of creativity of teachers, allows distance learning, develops
a system of continuous education, thereby increasing the efficiency of the
educational process. In domestic and foreign publications, the
computerization of the educational process is considered as one of the actual
factors in the organization of training in a particular subject.
 Task 5.
 What are the main effects of progress in wireless communication?
 Many people often think about the further progress of the field of
communications and communications, while leading scientists-engineers
define this as the goal of their lives. Of course, our generation has reached
the great heights of a kind of "Olympus of modern technologies", however,
what should we expect in the future? And most importantly, what can these
changes lead to?
 Being in some way a conservative in matters of technical progress as such, I
cannot leave without due attention my own opinion, which runs counter to
the opinion of many scientists, therefore I consider it necessary to designate
my position in advance as oppositional (in the context of this issue).
 I entrust you personally to investigate the origins of this point of view. At
the moment we have not so much: smartphones, tablets - everything is
extremely ordinary).
 The average person, inspired by the idea of communication modernity, is
already spending his time, if not his whole life, using these irreproachably
useful things! Well, indeed, they have a number of advantages, for example,
we can afford to communicate with people from different parts of the world,
thereby erasing the territorial boundaries of communication - this is
undeniable. But does anyone think about the consequences of this kind of
communication? Let's put this question aside for now, let's get back to
progress. What does progress entail? It is impossible to talk about progress
only in the field of communications, because this process certainly covers,
as a rule, all spheres of life. Thus, presenting a holistic picture of the future,
scientists need to make themselves understand to what degree of
development they seek to advance society with their discoveries and
innovations. To absolute progress? Well, I hasten to disappoint, "golden
time" and "absolute progress" lead to the death of civilization, remember the
story of Atlantis. If not, then why, to "half progress"? Hardly. It is unlikely
that scientists-engineers themselves realize the meaning of their discoveries
(remark: this applies exclusively to discoveries in the field of
communication innovations, I pay tribute to specialists in the field of
innovative medicine, etc.).
 The second point that can be formulated in the thesis: "Technical progress as
a regression of consciousness." Thus, we returned to the question of the
consequences of this type of communication. Having all the possibilities
provided by science in front of him, a person notices the simple less and
less, less and less feels the pleasure of walking, replacing the natural form of
communication with a virtual one. Therefore, this is a time of disagreements
and disputes, misunderstandings and policies of individualism.
 The future of communications? We will never be satisfied with what we
have achieved. I would not be surprised if a person invents a means of
communication that allows you to speak different languages at one moment,
thereby not allowing you to fully experience it while studying theory and
gaining skills in practice. But what could be more ingenious than the idea of
creation, which will allow you to read the thoughts of others - this is also
communication. Thus, the very personality of a person will be erased. The
future of relations between people within the framework of improving the
means of communication - this is what the great minds of scientists should
worry much more about!
