e The lesson will begin by reading the book 3 Little Firefighters.
d Once the reading is done, each student will be partners with
a the student next to them. I will begin the lesson by giving a
g basket and buttons to each group. Starting with slide 4 and
o moving through slide 6, we will practice sorting as a class.
g Partners will work together to put the buttons in the basket
y according to the attribute the teacher gives them.(eg. put all of
the green buttons in the basket, all of the square buttons, all of
the large buttons...etc). After a few turns of group sorting, I
will move to slide 7 through slide 9. Students will come up to
the board and sort the buttons according to the attribute on
the corresponding slide.
