In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to match key

terms with their definitions and learn about legislative branch of the United States
government.
For example: In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to
move and sort authors by time period and learn about literary genres.
Activity The teacher will go over the presentation while students take notes.
Throughout the slides there are several opportunities for students to come up
and answer questions. One slide has the students match key terms with their
definitions and another has them organize the steps it takes to pass
legislation. There are also questions throughout the presentation in which
students can raise their hand to answer. At the end of the presentation there
is an exercise that requires students to do their own research into an active
bill and answer questions about it. The teacher is there every step of the way
to guide students through the information and questions. This lesson
