 1 Start set up

1.1 From main screen, push on “libra” symbol.

Once pushed, system will ask you access credentials. Log in as:

User: Electronico
Password: Electronic4

1.3 Select “1.0 Setup” function

1.5 Switch on service mode

First, push on red button << Switch on “Service mode” >> (1)
After this action, service mode status flag will become yellow (1).

Once service mode is activated, click on “Next” push buttons (2)

1.6 Choosing calibration settings

In case of normal calibration, push on (a) button, to keep load cell settings already fixed.
Note: (b) option it will be selected ONLY in case of load cell substitution. In a calibration
procedure NEVER select (b) option

1.7 Calibration parametrization

In this page are shown all load cell parameters.

In case of doubt, Don’t change any parameter! Parameters must be changed in case of new
settings are known

1.8 Calibration method

At this point, you can choose if you would like to calibrate automatically (a) or with a sample
weight (b)
Both of procedure will be described.

2a Calibration with samples weight

By select << Calibrate with weights >> [option (a)] you will have to make setting with weigh
station completely empty, and then with a known sample weight. To do that, proceed as follow:

2a.1 Set sample weight

Set in << Calibration weight 0 >> value 0.0 as shown.

Set in << Calibration weight 1 >> value the correct value of sample weight (e.g.: 1000 kg)

Then push on “Next” push button (red circle)

2a.2 Calibrations

Arrived at this point, we must perform first “Set Calibration weight 0” with measurement point
completely empty, then wait some seconds, load known sample weight on weighing station and
perform “Set calibration weight 1”. Now load cell are parametrized.

 2b Automatic calibration
By select << Calibrate without weights >> [option (b), as described on 1.8] you will have to leave
weighing station completely empty and with any kind of mechanical interference.

2b.1 Cells parameters

Leave parameters as they currently are! To be changed only in case of new type of load cells
installation. Push on “Next” button.

2b.2 Start automatic calibration

Push on “Start Automatic Calibration” blue button to perform it

Load cell calibration should be terminated, for both kind of methods
