EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Feasibility Study on the establishment of a poultry
form is based on the survey made by Akash SR, and the
business with by whollyowned by him. The name of the
poultry farm will be name VONEX FARMSVENTURE
and will concentrate on sales of eggs and table meat
bird boilers.We will supply birds and eggs to different
Quick service restaurant in southwest India and our
vision is to be one of the Known poultry farm product
supplier in India with a mission to raise healthy birds at
a very pro table venture. From the research that was
carried out it was discovered that the demand foreggs
and bird meat is not fully satisfied around some areas
of (agos, thoughthey are already e)isting poultry farms
operating around borders of (agos andOgun state
environment, the poultry farm will be sited at *fo
(ocalgovernment area in Ogun state a neighboring
environment to (agos, there arehigh demand in some
part of lfo, Sango and some part of (agos. These
legalre$uirements for the establishment of this venture
such as local governmentrevenue ta)! per month and
security payment vigilante! per month havebeen
inuired and will be carefully complied with. The
venture will help in providence employment to the
locals meeting thedemand of eggs and ma%ing the
price a#ordable in future,

venture to be established is a poultry farm that will
concentrate on theproduction of eggs and sales of

mar%et. The farm site will be a permanent land and
will need necessarye$uipment for its operation as it is

OPERATIONAL PLAN
The 'rm will be a commercial poultry farm2 therefore
it will re$uire a full timelabour and geared towards
productivity on a scale for the sales of egg andsales of
broiler birds.For egg production, birds usually starts to
lay at 345++ wee%s of age andcontinue to lay for
Twelve months 6+wee%s! on average laying fewer
egg asthe new mounting period. The typical production
cycle last about 37 months7+ wee%s! and involves
three district phases as follows8
PHASE 1:
9ullets or broilers8 This phrase last from  0 4 wee%s
during whichsmall chic%s pullets! are %ept separately
from broilers.
PHASE 2 ("ROWERS):
This period concerned is between 4 0 +3 wee%s of
age. rowers are the future laying birds and the way
they grow up will largelydetermine how well they do in
the laying house. Therefore managementduring the
growing period is very important.
PHASE 3 (LAYERS):
The laying period is ta%en to have started when
thebirds reach 6- egg production on a daily basis. The
laying period continuesuntil the birds are sold at the
end of a laying period of normal length or areforce
mounted :ousing time starts with the beginning of the
laying period. The number of birds housed is the
number of pullet in the laying house whenegg
production starts.
MAR'ET ANALYSIS

output li%e egg or meat.&igeria has over 37 million
growing population that demand for meat or eggon a
daily basis. "ith increasing awareness on health
implication of red meat,they are ever increasing
demand for white meat and livestoc% are source of
white meat.

awareness will be made by means of advertisement.

and oneon one mar%eting will be done to eateries,
restaurants and companies thatdemand for our

Cream, (ocal restaurants and hotels

activities are essentials as they will lead tolarge volume
of sales of product $uic%ly as possible resulting to
increase of income

applied to ensure that weight isuniformed to avoid
re1ection from customers
BUSINESS EVALUATION OF FARM/FINANCE
This evaluation is based on birds i.e. layers and
broilers(ayers are those birds that lay eggs while
broilers don?t lay egg. Thisevaluation will be based on
6- normal loss i.e. at the process of ta%ing care of the
day old chic%s2 it is possible to lose 6- of the birds to
sic%ness. Thereforeif we start with 3 birds, it is
possible for us to lose 6 birds at the processof rearing
them. "hile broilers if we start with @ birds it is
possible for us toloss + birds to diseases at the
process of rearing them.
