Paint robot

-:Introduction

Early paint robots were hydraulic versions - which are still in use today
but are of inferior quality and safety - to the latest electronic offerings. [1]
[2] [3] The newest robots are accurate and deliver results with uniform
.film builds and exact thicknesses

Operation

Spray Coating: Spray coating makes use of a spray gun directed at the
object to be coated. Paint flows through the nozzle of the spray gun to be
.dispersed and applied over the surface of the object

Robot applications include spray coating of appliances, automobile car

bodies, engines and other parts, spray staining of wood products and
.spraying of porcelain coatings on bathroom fixtures

Applications

Painting robots are used by vehicle manufacturers to do detailing work on

their cars in a consistent and systematic way. Some of these robots are
designed with a robotic arm that moves vertically and horizontally, to
.apply paint on all parts of the car

Agriculture wheel spray pump

Introduction

There are many types of sprayers in the market like knapsack sprayer, rocker sprayer,
centrifugal rotary disc type sprayer, foot sprayer, tractor mounted sprayer, etc. Present
work aims at developing a new method of spraying technique called as "Multi nozzle,
multi pump wheel driven pull type sprayer" which will perform spraying at maximum
rate in minimum time. The equipment is wheel operated in turn operating the pump
and spraying of the liquid at the back of the worker hence avoids contact with the
liquid and reduces health hazards. Fig[1]

Fig [1]

Advantages Disadvantages
Work by just moving- Low pressure spray-
Reduce using the water- Take a lot of time-
Zero emissions- Can`t cover a big area-
-Not electrical bill The tank is not big so need water -
every piece of time
Operation

The operator grabs the handle and pushes the cycle forward as cycle moves forward, .
the wheel rotate. When the wheel rotates then the gear sprocket mounted on wheel is
also rotate at same speed. The chain drive transfers the motion of gear sprocket to
pinion sprocket. The pinion sprocket and crank is mounted on either side of same
shaft, the rotary motion of shaft is converted into the reciprocating motion with the
help of crank and connecting rod mechanism. The connecting rod is also connected
with lever and then the lever oscillates at fulcrum
