Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to say that we will be holding a Sports Day event at NEMS

this year. This will take place on the school grounds. Pupils will remain in

school after their Sports Day and will be collected at the normal time.

When is Sports Day?

Due to the high number of pupils at NEMS, we have had to split the

event across 3 days:

Monday 12th

December, Tuesday

13th December,

Wednesday 14th

December

What should children bring?

Children should come to school wearing their regular school uniforms on

the day of their Sports Day. Please send sports t-shirts and pants or track

suit as per their comfort which they should bring on all the sports-days.

Please make sure they bring a water bottle, sun hat and hand towels. An

extra tiffin could be packed with snacks should the pupils feel famished

after their work-out.

What activities will there be?

The children will follow a carousel of events that they have been

learning in class. They will be given a team on the day. The list of games

are as follows:

Tug of War

Kabaddi

Langdi

Kho-Kho

Cricket

Dodgeball

50m Race

100 M race

200 M race

Skipping

Relay race

Lemon Spoon Race

Frog Jump Race

Book Balance Race

Sack Race
