A. STIMULUS
Direction: Divide the class into three groups.
Perform a brief dramatization of the given literary pieces. Each group is given 15
minutes for the preparation and 5 minutes to present in the class.
Group 1. Pina was the most spoiled child her village had ever seen. When her
mother grew ill, Pina could not be bothered to help. When her mother
asked the ladle , Pina claimed she couldn't find it. Her frustrated mother
made a wish that Pina would grow a thousand eyes so she could see the
ladle. Pina disappeared and her mother searched for Pina, but couldn't
find her. Finally her mother found a large round fruit growing with a
thousand unseeing eyes. Her mother took the seeds from the fruit and
grew a lot of them, then gave them to the people in the village. This was
the first and only generous thing Pina had ever done for anyone else.

Group 2. A couple named Don Juan and Namongan lived in a faraway barrio of
Nalbuan. Don Juan left his pregnant wife and went to the mountain to
punish the group of Igorots. Lam-ang had an unusual dream in which he
saw how his father was killed. In his rage, he fought all the Igorots and
slew them all, including the leader. ( Epic )
