Many architects in the 1960's accepted the fact that many of their ways were becoming
outdated and thus a need to change with the trend. Many had refused to accept the certainty that
the changes were inevitable thus the need to start on new ways. Urban ways were changing and
people soon embraced the trends of the new ways, the sharp criticism of the architectural
journalist left more for thought. The more the Americans embraced the idea of obsolescence, the
more they criticized it .Most of the Americans who own businesses agree to the fact that
obsolescence greatly determines the present status of their economy. These entail purchasing of
new products before expiring of the old ones. This is very true in the modern world. New models
of products are manufactured before the old models completely run out of stock. In the American
Hearts, obsolescence was not expressing the same picture that it used to show especially when it
comes to investments. In the early 1960s, critiques to obsolesce culturally started rising up.
In many American societies, people quit using numerous useful objects and started
wasting resources due to the idea of obsolescence. As time passed, many people criticized the
effective and everlasting feature of a well laid business strategy. Some people did not believe in
the idea of planned obsolescence, for example, purchasing a new model of a car is not usually
done for the sake of change, but it is usually one`s desire to acquire a new model for personal
reasons. In the early 1960, both preservationism and obsolescence existed in the same society
peacefully, however, following the many protests against; numerous positive strategies were laid
for the reversal of obsolescence. There is always a lot of persistence for the reversal of various
decisions made. One of the great theorists of architectural obsolescence was also a very active
