•Sender- is an individual, group or


organization who initiates the
communication.
• Encoding- translates the ideas or
concepts into coded message.

• Message- is what needs to be delivered or


imparted to somebody else.

• Channel- method used to deliver the


message.

• Decoding- Once the message is received and


reviewed, it is sent to the brain to be
interpreted to appoint meaning to it.

• Receiver- is the individual or


individuals to whom the message is
directed.

• Feedback- allows the sender to review


the effectiveness of the message.
• Noise- a common barrier to
communication
