Q1:- The signs of Allah are manifest everywhere in nature. Discuss:

Ans:- The signs of Allah are manifest everywhere in nature because whatever is in the heavens
and the earth belongs to Allah. Allah obey His will. The variety of languages and colours
are His signs for all living beings. The most striking phenomenon is the alteration of day
and night, the sun and the moon are some of the significant signs of Allah.

Q2:- What incident took place on the day when Prophet’s son died?

Ans:- On the day of Ibrahim’s death, not long after his burial, there was an eclipse of the sun.

Q3:- What did the Prophet ( AS ) remark?

Ans:- The Prophet ( SAW ) said, “ The sun and the moon are two signs of Allah. They do not
suffer an eclipse for any man’s death or life. If you see them eclipsed, you should glorify
Allah, offer Salah and give alms.

Q4:- What is the Salatul Khusuf?

Ans :- Salatu Khusuf is the Salah that is offered during the eclipse of the sun or moon. It is little
different from ordinary Salah in that there are two Rokous in each Rakah performed
preferably in congregation, followed by a sermon. It is the Sunnah of the Prophet.
