Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club, THDC-IHET, Tehri is a student’s learning-by-doing environment

whose vision is to spread awareness among individuals regarding innovation and entrepreneurship. The club
continuously works on the mission to motivate students to inherit leadership and managerial skills so to
develop inter disciplinary individuals with robust personality and rational risk taking adherence.

Our club to carry its vision and mission forward is going to organize and host a competition titled
“Samadhaan”. This competition will demand students to present any innovative idea covering solutions to
issues as per the problem statement pre-given to them which can work as in the cause of social welfare,
business model, research and development (R&D) or as any other aspect. The competition will help in
boosting the presentation skills, thinking and analysing ability, and other key personality aspects. It would
be very beneficial in the favour of students.

The event is proposed to be held on November 28, 2022 (Monday) at the Seminar Hall, THDC-IHET. The
participants may register them in the Google Form as per the link-:

Competition format and rules-:

• The participation can be either individually or in a team consisting of maximum of 5 members.

• Competition will be conducted round wise (3) with each subsequent round leading to elimination of
teams as per to the score of that particular round. At the end of each round, judges may ask questions
which will be a separate judging criteria.
• Participant(s) would have to present their ideas on any one problem mentioned as in the theme for
that particular round as the table followed in interest of the domain of action.
• The ideas in all the 3 rounds have to be presented with the support of a presentation (PowerPoint).
Any other props supporting the idea can be used additionally.
• Scores of the participant(s) would be added up as they go ahead in further rounds. Hence, the top 3
teams would be judged as per to the aggregated score of all of the 3 rounds.
