After hearing and studying the major theories of how people learn languages, go back to your
English classes and give examples of how these theories are used in the classroom.

Schuman's Theory can be used in the classroom by utilizing multimedia, which aids
students in learning more effectively, and by providing activities outside of the classroom as well
as inside it, such as giving an assignment in which their families were involved, performing
community service, reciting a poem after the flag ceremony, or role-playing. Build vocabulary to
provide comprehensible input and offer many opportunities for conversation and participation.
