Target Market
          The incrEDIBLE Sporky business has its target market that includes food stall
businesses, groceries, cafés, bakeries, and other business establishments. For its primary
target market, it aims to target food stall businesses and dessert stalls such as Bentesilog,
Siomai House, Turks, SMeals, Mister Donut, DQ, etc. It also intends to make cafés and
bakeries one of its primary target markets. Examples are Tea House, Vizcos, Dane's
Bakeshop, Julie's Bakeshop, Victoria's Bakeshop, etc. For its secondary target markets, it
includes grocery stores such as Tiongsan grocery store, Sunshine grocery store, and
Victoria's Supermarket.

Market Size and Market Trends


         Consumer expenditures for fast food in Baguio City rose during the end of the year
2000. The increasing number of new establishments such as fast food franchises, fancy
restaurants and gourmet bakeries around Philippines has shown a significant growth in this
sector. 

        For the past few years, the no-plastic policy has been implemented through some cities of the
Philippines, including Baguio City. The government are being cautious as to what plastics could do to
our environment. This ordinance then left all establishments (fast-food chains, restaurants, etc.) with no
choice but to use reusable utensils. Jollibee, Chowking, and Mang Inasal are some of those who started
going straw less and using reusable utensils. This movement results to higher expenses (salary of
workers to wash the dishes). To be one with the government, the Incredible Company offers a low-cost
and eco-friendly product, sporky.

For the market size the company aims to include all ages, except infants, as all of us
need spoons and forks. The company expect high consumption among the middle ages (late
20’s-late 40’s) because they are usually the ones who do groceries (for the whole family).
Male or female, the company will target both sexes, with a slight skew for males due to their
lower attention to dietary concerns. As the Incredible Company has a cheaper product
compared to most competitors, it will appeal to the medium income individuals and to all in
the lower medium income bracket. 

A much broader appeal exists for weekend slots because those are the days when most
of our core target market enjoys the mall going activities.

The market size would be 8,839,656.

     For their plastic spoon and fork, they have colored, transparent, and white available
colors. For sizes, they have 5.75 inches which is for kids, 6 inches is the small one, and
6.5 inches is the size of the big one. 

Pricing:
     It costs Php 165.00 per kilo for the color white and transparent spoon. And for the
fork, it has the same price.

         The Sporky product is only made of flour, water, and such ingredients which makes it eco – friendly. It
will give a large contribution in helping our environment by being an alternative of plastic spoon and forks.
Instead of increasing the nation’s plastic usage, customers could purchase our product and at the same time,
help conserve the environment. 
         The product has a wide variety of flavors that you can have. It consists of Milo (chocolate), sugar, milk,
and cheese. Each flavor has a delicious taste! The features of the product meet the consumer’s needs. The
product is hard enough to be alternatives for plastic spoon and forks. Sporky does not only help the environment
but it also gives satisfaction towards the consumers and the reason for this is the flavorsome and appetizing taste
of our product. Additionally, the product has a long shelf-life which can help consumers make safe and
informed use of foods. Sporky has a life span for up to 3 months which makes it a persistent product.
         The product is healthy for consumers because the ingredients used are natural and
safe. The production process is safe for the workers because it is ensured that they are at
their comfortable space; they wear the proper attire for making the product. 

Marketing Strategies
          First of all, the marketing strategy of the company will not just rely on one strategy but on the
combination of various strategies that will helpful to be more successful and form powerful campaign online
and offline. The effectiveness of the company campaign will be measured in different ways such as the
visibility of the product and services online. Without spending much money, we aim to advertise through social
media. Using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as the main platform for advertisement to let the product be
known to more people. This is a fast and effective way as almost all the citizens have access to internet. The
company will produce flyers, posters and tarpaulins. Flyers are to be distributed along overpass, sidewalks or
where a lot of people pass by. Posters are to be put on walls (only the areas where advertisement post are
permitted). Images of the posters will also be posted on the social media accounts. Tarpaulins will be put
outside the main branch and other outlets.   
           The tagline “Still hungry? Just eat your sporky” will be made visible on the
tarpaulins, posters and flyers. 
To appeal to customers, sporky will have the value proposition “Sporky, the
delicious way to save Earth” and the unique selling proposition “Scoop, Savor and Save.”
                       Cost-based pricing would be used for the price of the product. A pair of spoon and fork
would cost PHP 30.00

Cost-based Pricing. Using this strategy, the company will be able to earn more profit.

Edible sporky. Spoons and forks are already all-over the country. It may be plastic or stainless,
but edible sporky is a first, raising curiosity to people. 

People:
Capable. All staffs in the company are carefully picked based on their skills for their desired
positions. The company makes sure that all workers undergo training before working on the job.

Promotion:
Social Media. With the arising popularity and use of gadgets and the internet, the company aims
to reach out to people through these.

Process:
Less complexity. The production of the product itself takes only few steps. With this factor, the
company will be able to produce a lot of spoons and forks in a short amount of time.

Packaging:
Eco-friendly. The company is confident that the packaging used for the product is eco-friendly
because the company didn’t used plastic but rather a non-toxic parchment paper bag.
