Question 1:
The failure to decolonise the socially constructed ideas, knowledge, and culture of the West is
the biggest challenge for Africa’s development. Discuss.

Question 2:
In the global politics, economic and political powers have been shifting from one region to
another. Since the birth of the Cold World, the United States has demonstrated its superiority
in economic and political ideologies. However, since the end of Cold War, China has emerged
as a giant in the global economy. In your own opinion, do you think China with its agenda of
South-South cooperation, a viable option for Africa’s development? Support your opinion with
relevant examples.

Questions 3:
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an abstract, Eurocentric and historically biased
agenda. Discuss.
