APPLICATIONS

Galaxy 2932 NB is a very well-known, effective sunscreen, widely used in sunscreen products
and other skin care formulations which offer sun protection, e.g. creams, lotions, gels, colour
cosmetics and others. Galaxy 2932 NB is suitable for hair care products also. It is also used as
sun protection ingredient in bathing bars, body-wash, shower-gels, etc. Being insoluble in
water, Galaxy 2932 NB is an ideal sunscreen for water-resistant / water-proof sun-protection
formulations

PACKING

Galaxy 2932 NB is available in 235 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 18.8 MT
can be shipped palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is available in 200
litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 80 carboys i.e. 16 MT can be shipped palletized or non -
palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It is also available in 30 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of
600 carboys i.e. 18 MT can be shipped palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load.
It is available in 25 litres HMHDPE carboys. Total of 640 carboys i.e. 16 MT can be shipped
palletized or non - palletized in 20 ft. full container load. It can also be supplied in IBC of 1 MT
capacity. Total of 18 IBC i.e. 18 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load. It can also be
supplied in ISO tanks

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Store the material in a clean, dry place at 20 - 35°C away from direct heat and sunlight. In
original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, the shelf life of the product is at least 2.5
years. Colour of the product may deteriorate on exposure to sunlight. Keep the container
tightly closed after use. Product may solidify, if stored at < - 10°C. If solidifies, it is

recommended to heat the ISO tank with hot water (55 - 60°C) jacket or low pressure steam

(< 2 kgs / cm2) to bring the temperature 30 - 40°C. If the product becomes frozen in IBC /

HMHDPE carboys, then keep the same in hot room of 30 - 40°C (avoid direct heating). During
storage, stacking should be maximum 1+1 for IBC and carboys (palletized / non - palletized)

Spill should be contained / collected and disposed off as per the regulations. Avoid ingestion,
contact with eyes, skin and clothing. In case of contact with eyes and skin, seek adequate and
timely medical attention
