Haii yall, my name is bima putra prasetya, people usually call me by bima, I am from class a,

industrial engineering at diponegoro university, now I want to talk about motivation and urgency of
research.

Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors. It is what
helps you lose extra weight, for instance, or pushes you to get that promotion at work. In short,
motivation causes you to act in a way that gets you closer to your goals.

In everyday usage, the term "motivation" is frequently used to describe why a person does
something. It is the driving force behind human actions. Motivation includes the biological,
emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate human behavior.

Motivation also involves factors that direct and maintain goal-directed actions. Although, such
motives are rarely directly observable. As a result, we must often infer the reasons why people do
the things that they do based on observable behaviors.

Learn the types of motivation that exist and how we use them in our everyday lives. And if it feels
like you've lost your motivation, do not worry. We also share a few ways to develop or improve your
self-motivation levels.

Why Motivation Is Important? Motivation serves as a guiding force for all human behavior. So,
understanding how motivation works and the factors that may impact it can be important for several
reasons.

Understanding motivation can:

1. Increase your efficiency as you work toward your goals

2. Drive you to take action
3. Encourage you to engage in health-oriented behaviors
4. Help you avoid unhealthy or maladaptive behaviors, such as risk-taking and addiction
5. Help you feel more in control of your life
6. Improve your overall well-being and happiness

The urgency of research means how important the research is, how much impact if we succeed in
research and how urgent the problem is if we don't do research and get solutions to existing
problems. What reasons are very logical and convincing if we do research. Thus, a research can be
said to have high urgency if the research output (or research conclusions) is able to verify theory or
find new theory, for pure/academic research, or able to solve real problems of society for applied
research.
