Detailed Lesson Plan in 21ST Century Literature

Content Standard: The learner will be able to understand and appreciate literary texts in
various genres across national literature and cultures.

Performance Standard: The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and


appreciation of 21st century literature of the world through a written close analysis and critical
interpretation of a literary text in terms of form and theme, with a description of its context
derived from research.

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
a. Recognize representative texts and authors from Asia
b. Write a close analysis or critical interpretation of literary texts
II. SUBJECT MATTER
a. Topic: Representative Texts and Authors from Asia
b. Resources: SHS Module
c. Materials: Powerpoint, Coloring materials, bondpaper
d. Time Allotment: 50 minutes
