Deliver efficient Mechanical Engineering services.

Deliver efficient Electrical Engineering services.

Implement EMS and SHE management systems with regard to infrastructure maintenance plans to create a safe and secure
port environment.

Optimise institutional processes for effective performance and delivery.

Provide a reliable electricity supply for the Port and its consumers.

Provide an effective examination and inspection authority for mechanical and electrical infrastructure in the Port.

Conduct maintenance audits and condition monitoring of all electrical and mechanical infrastructure in the Port.

The development of and management of capital projects according to the Project Lifecycle Process adopted by Transnet.

Develop and review service masterplans for the Port and provide input into the port development framework plans and
corporate plans as per identified capacity requirements for short / medium and long term planning.

Management of electrical and mechanical infrastructure staff and providing coaching and mentoring to engineers and
technicians
Qualifications & Experience:
BSc/ B Eng Electrical / B-Tech Electrical Engineering
Government Certificate of Competence (GCC) as issued by the Department of Labour
Professional Registration with ECSA will be to the advantage and if not already obtained, should be able to achieve within 12
months.
Minimum years of post-graduate relevant experience : 6 years
