As a junior commercial aviation student at the University of North Dakota, I’m looking for the
opportunity to gain experience in the aviation work field. I was pleased to discover on your
website that the company was offering an internship this upcoming summer in Atlanta, Georgia,
to undergraduate students.

In recent years, I have acquired many skills in aviation, aviation management, aviation safety,
meteorology, marketing, and communication. I have displayed academic excellence by holding a
4.0 GPA and making the Dean’s List every semester. I possess a Private Pilot’s License and an
Instrument Rating with over 100 flight hours. Furthermore, I plan to finish my Commercial
License before this upcoming summer.

Along with my studies, I am an NCAA Division 1 Cross Country and Track & Field athlete at
the University of North Dakota. As a Division 1 student-athlete, I have learned that hard work,
commitment, perseverance, goal setting, and leadership are keys to my success. A goal of mine
has been to work for a company that emphasizes similar qualities in their employees.

As an avid Delta flyer, your airline has always been my family’s first choice. My passion for
aviation has grown from my experiences flying with Delta. From the moment that I arrive at the
airport to when I leave, I can see how much the employees of Delta love their job. It feels more
like a family than a company, and that is why I would like to have the opportunity to intern at
Delta Air Lines.
