THE ENTREPRENEURIAL MIND

10 ELMS REVIEW

1. What was Suresh Jayakar’s project/idea?

The Produce Truck is the project/idea of Suresh Jayakar. He came up with a plan to use trucks
to transport produce closer to the workers. You won't need to travel far or take a lot of time in
the future to find the products. He deserved it when the vegetable truck arrived at the crowd. It
is in an advantageous position. His idea is to use design thinking to solve major problems. We
are born with an awareness of the power of creativity in solving problems, but this is
conditioned out of us as we grow up. He contends that in order to be innovative, designers
need to reclaim this aspect of their youthful selves.

2. Do you think Jayakar’s idea is feasible here in the Philippines? Specifically, in provinces?
Why?

The idea of Suresh Jayakar is feasible in the Philippines because we Filipinos have creative
minds and good ideas, too. Jayakar's idea may be implemented in the Philippines or in other
provinces in the Philippines because other Filipinos always think outside the box, which is why
they are successful now. However, there is no guarantee that trucks will be able to transport
food supplies like fruits and vegetables to remote provinces due to the fact that these areas are
typically inaccessible for travel and are suitable for agricultural products.

3. With Suresh Jayakar’s idea, how did design thinking solve life’s problems?

Each of us faces challenges in our daily lives. All of us must come up with fresh solutions to
these issues in order to avoid wasting time and money. Every one of us creates their own
personal lives. You can improve your life without being a trained designer. But we can all use
design principles in all facets of our lives. Design thinking is one of those principles. It's a
strategy for tackling challenging issues and locating the ideal answers. Design thinking is a
method for producing results that are desired and advantageous to the end user. It is based on
logic, imagination, empathy, and systemic reasoning. Designers use more than just a process or
a special set of abilities to create innovative products.
