NARRATIVE REPORT

On the third day of our duty, we were assigned to an open clinic as part of our task. We provided
a free checkup that included the distribution of free medication, monitoring and testing of blood
pressure and blood sugar, measuring and testing of hemoglobin, and blood typing. We were
given the opportunity to communicate with a variety of new people who we were not previously
interacted with.

As we go about performing our tasks, we are conscious of the importance of working together.
We are able to maintain communication with the residents, our instructor, and fellow nursing
students. What we had been taught in our prior years as nursing students gave us the opportunity
to be put into practice when we worked in community health nursing.
