Unit 4 - School and Community Partnership

Module 8 - The Why and How of School and Community Partnership

Name: Glen Jhon M. Orquin Course/Year: BEED 2-B

1. Why are policies important in a school?
- Policies are important in schools because they assist in the establishment of
operational procedures and the creation of quality standards for learning and instruction, as
well as the establishment of expectations and accountability. Schools would be unable to
meet children' educational needs if they lacked the requisite structure and function.

  2. What is your attitude towards school policies? Do you welcome them? (5 points each)
- When rules or policies are formed in our lives or countries, we all feel a sense of
lunacy because we believe that regulations limit our freedom. In my perspective,
rules have made our lives better; they may drive us insane at times, but the
fundamental core of them is that they build a peaceful society or school.
