Dear Dr. Calasara:

I'm writing to say how interested I am in working for your department as a part-time student
assistant. I am a second-year civil engineering student at Iloilo Science and Technology
University-Lapaz Campus. In my pursuit of new opportunities, I am confident that I am the
perfect candidate for this job, and I am eager to join your team.

I started working in our STEM department as a student assistant during my senior year of high
school. There, I developed my skills in filing, proofreading, and interacting with other students.

I can perform any administrative task given by the department staff. I can also assist them in
filing documents and providing photocopies. I have the ability to communicate with students
through phone and email, addressing their questions and concerns. I am also fond of organizing
and sorting documents and records and helping in maintaining the cleanliness of the office.

My academic experiences have made a big difference in how well-rounded I am when it comes
to multitasking and prioritizing. I am proficient at communicating both clearly and professionally
with my fellow students and department staff.
