This diagram illustrates how sugar is manufactured from sugar cane.

Overall, there are seven stages in

production from sugar cane, beginning with growing and ending with drying and cooling.

To begin with, farmers plant sugar canes and grow them in 12 to 18 months. After that, they harvested
sugar cane by agricultural vehicles or by hand. At the third stage, they put sugar cane into a crush
machine and then extracted juice. They put juice in a limestone filter to eliminate harmful substances
and the juice becomes pure one in the next step.
At the following stage, the pure juice is boiled at high temperature in an evaporator to remove water
and condense into syrup. Following that, they put them in a centrifuge to separate sugar crystals from
the syrup. The crystal is dried and cooled in a large container to produce finished sugar at the final stage.
Then, sugar is brought to the market for sale and consumption.
