Business Analytics - Assignment Guidelines

Date of submission will be announced in Google class room.

Guidelines for Submissions:

1.Assignment should be handwritten in own handwriting.

2.Handwriting must be Neat and legible.

3.Answer as questions are long answer type questions.

4.Answers should not contain unnecessary repetitive sentences and words.

5.Answers should be qualitative, correct and complete with all important points underlined with
black HP pencil.

6.Use only blue ink for answer, however you can use Black or green to highlight heading or sub
heading while elaborating point.

7.Do not use Red Ink for any purpose.

8. You must write Question and Question Number as per Question Bank.

9.You must start new question from new page.

10.You have to submit answer in fresh long single line note book only.

11.Notebook should not contain any other stuff other than the assignment question and answers.

12.Mention clearly your Name than surname, enrollment no, Course Name, Subject Code, Subject
Name, Class, Division number on the first page of you Note book.

13.Keep a photocopy (Scan PDF Copy) of your assignment with you for preparing for midterm
exam as well as for uploading purpose whenever required.

14.Best Source for writing answers are books mentioned in the syllabus is Book. Do not copy
answers from PPT.
 Business Analytics - Assignment – Module 1 & 2 Questions:

1. Think of an industry of your choice such as retail, manufacturing, telecommunications,

finance, etc. Identify the core business processes for the chosen industry.
2. Explain any Decision Support application that you have come across.
3. What is your understanding of the connected world?
4. What is your understanding of business analytics? Explain.
5. Think about your university. What according to you are the applications that can be
automated? Explain giving suitable examples.
