3. Motivation
Two students will be asked to be in front. The rest of the students will be asked to
determine the similarities and differences of the two students.

B. Developmental Activities
1. Activity
The students will be divided into 5 groups and they will be asked to listen and watch a
short video clip about crocodile and alligator. And they will take note the following details:
- similarities of both crocodile and alligator
- characteristic of crocodile
- characteristic of an alligator
2. Analysis
Are crocodiles and alligators the same?
What are their similarities?
What are their differences?
Plotting of details using Venn diagram.

4. Application
What do you think is the importance of comparing and contrasting in our life especially
when making decisions?

IV. Evaluation
With their groups, students will be given a short selection and they will be asked to
compare and contrast frogs and toads using a Venn diagram. Each group will write
their answer on a Manila paper and they will be asked to choose their presenter which
will be rate accordingly:
