invention of nylon

nylon was invented by wallace carothers who was the director of research center in DuPont
Corporation (US). He had studied chemistry specializing in polymers molecules which are
composed of long chains of atoms. Nylon was strong but fine synthetic fiber. It was panted in
1935 and mass produced in1939.It becomes one of the component of
stockings,toothbrushes,parachutes,fishing lines and surgical thread.
